We’re a warm and inclusive Christian Science church community in Nova Scotia, part of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts.
Our mission is to help you experience the healing power of God’s love through the teachings of Christian Science—a faith rooted in the Bible and the life and works of Christ Jesus.

Sunday Church Services
Every Sunday 11:00am to 12:00noon, Atlantic Time
The members of our society warmly welcome everyone to our Sunday services. Our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy writes “Christian Science brings to light Truth and its supremacy, universal harmony, the entireness of God, good, and the nothingness of evil.” Since its discovery over 150 years ago, Christian Science has embraced the globe – and today our churches and societies are found on six continents. Our Halifax Society is an active part of this world-wide movement which has its headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts. Our services are designed to bring restoration, joy and healing into our daily experience.
We hold Sunday services each week at 11 a.m. Atlantic time via Zoom. During this time the congregation is able to listen to live music and the reading of the weekly Bible Lesson. We hope that you will be able to join us!

Wednesday Evening Testimony Meetings
The first and third Wednesday of every month.
7:00 – 8:00pm, Atlantic Time
We also hold mid-week testimony meetings via zoom at 7 p.m. the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. During our spiritual gathering, members of our congregation listen to hymns and readings selected from our Pastor, the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy. Those attending are also invited to share insights from their spiritual study, experiences of healing and expressions of gratitude for God’s blessings in their lives.
Meet our Pastor
The Pastor of our church is The Bible (the authorised King James Version) and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures written by the founder of Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy. These two books are the textbooks of Christian Science, the dual and impersonal pastor of Christian Science churches around the world.
